Miss Sasha, Co-Owner, Administrator. Miss Sasha, a Douglas County native, began working in the dance and non-profit industry in 2001. Sasha has had the privilege of attending several of Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Dance Intensive Teacher Trainings, Sam Beckford’s Successful Studio Strategies, and Rhee Gold’s Dance Life Teacher Conferences where she was trained in Dance Studio Management. Formerly the Talent Coordinator for Distinguished Young Women of Greater Douglas County, Sasha is mother of two adult children, and married to husband Roy for over 30 yrs. When not in the studio, she can be found cheering on the sidelines of soccer and baseball fields, and walking her beloved grand-dogs Luna & Lily.
Miss Pam, Co-Owner, Instructor. Miss Pam, a certified instructor in Leap N Learn™ ballet, has been involved in dance for many years and has been a dance instructor since 2007. She is currently training with Karida Griffith Walker (former Rockette and current Master instructor), in tap, and will continue to train and bring fun, excitement, and wonderful technique into every class. Miss Pam has a great love for tap, and a strong heart for children. She was the choreographer for the Miss Douglas County Pageant Princess Program since 2013, and formerly the official little sister choreographer and committee member of Distinguished Young Women of Greater Douglas County. Miss Pam is a mother to two children - a 33 year old son with cerebral palsy and a 27 year old daughter. Her dream one day is to have a dance program for those with special needs. Miss Pam is known by her students for her love of Disney, Hello Kitty, coffee, her cats and anything pink and sparkly. When not at the studio, she is probably creating logo wear for the studio, making fun tumblers, doing diamond art, or rhinestoning anything and everything!
Miss Alex, Instructor.
Taking her first dance class at the age of four, Miss Alex learned that dance would soon become her passion. Having trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop & lyrical since the age of 4, Alex has had the opportunity to dance in many community events, such as local performances of the Nutcracker & Alice in Wonderland with the Eugene Ballet Co., local talent show events and dance competitions in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, Alex has acted as a guest instructor at Cobb School, as well as lending her talents to the Miss Douglas County Scholarship Program.
Having attended many master classes and conventions in the Pacific Northwest, Las Vegas, Arizona and Atlantic City; Alex holds teaching certifications through Acrobatic Arts, Leap N’ Learn ballet, Richard Elzy’s Building Blocks of Dance and continues to attend master classes yearly. Alex is a LOFDC alumni and former member of the LOFDC Diamond competitive dance company.
When not dancing, Alex is an avid baseball fan and loves to cheer on the Oregon Ducks! She is excited to share the passion and talent of dance that God has given her to the upcoming generation of dancers.
Miss Angie has been teaching for Leap of Faith Dance Center for the past 2 years, but is now in the Honors Program at the University of Oregon. She will stay on staff to help with competition tap and tap classes when she comes home for breaks. She has been dancing for 15 years and competed for 8, winning many overall and special judges choice awards. She will be choreographing for 2 of our tap soloists, so we're excited to see her amazing work this year!
Miss Ciara grew up in San Diego and has lived in Roseburg for 9 1/2 years. She started dancing in her early teens and throughout high school. After graduating, she took her artistic passion on to Cosmetology School and received her license in Hair Design. Miss Ciara is a Mom to four children, including her son Ren and daughter Lux, who is on our competitive tap company, Tap Crew. Miss Ciara also takes our adult tap class and competes in our adult tap competition group. When she’s not in the salon or at the studio, she can be found spending time with her family and their 5 dogs!
